Chairman’s Message
Hi all,
We started the month with a continuation of our competition calendar with our Sports Day at Thomas Hardye. We saw teams battle it out in rounder’s, hockey and basketball competitions.
It was great to see another brilliant turnout of members for the competition across different clubs, all gaining points for their clubs. I personally enjoyed the stiff competition in the basketball that I umpired! Well done to all teams that took part and to those that won, including those that will go on to represent the County at South West Area.
A big thank you to those who helped on the day – Matt Frampton, Andy Seare, Henry Cox and Jo Wonnacott. An additional thank you goes to the parents who braved the cold temperatures to stand on the Astro turf to cheer the teams on!
I look forward to seeing lots of our members at the South West Area weekend at the beginning of March.
