Chairman’s Message

Hello all,

Has summer finally sprung?….

What a month May has been. The stock judging competition took place between two farms by hosted by Sherborne YFC a very busy day, with lots of new competitors taking part in the junior section. Its looking very positive for the future.

We also saw the grassland competition take place with a huge attendance.

Two County Fundraisers took place with our very successful Race Night at Charlton Down, we had lots of tables from most of the clubs which turned out to be a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to all who attended to support our event. Just recently we have held our Family Fun day at Mapperton farm by kind permission of Andy Seare, which we saw over 20 dogs attend the Dog show and we had around 8 teams competing in the Fun TOW. Also had the presentation of the Sheep show and Calf Show. Thank you for everyone who attended the weather help up lovely to be a beautiful sunny day.

Good luck to everyone who is representing Dorset YFC at Lackham College on 23rd June. I know you will do Dorset YFC Proud I will be there to support you on the day.
