Hello all,
This is the last report you will receive from me as the year has flown by and its nearly time to hand the baton over to Katie. October has been a bit of a quieter month on the competition front. Everyone is busy preparing for the all busy time of the year with New Member evenings for their clubs and the highly entered and popular Harvest Supper Competitions. The Harvest suppers are the time to show your appreciation to people you have had talks from or places you have visited. I have currently been to 2 which was Beaminster and Sherborne, so far what I have seen has been brilliant so good to see so many keen junior members helping and waiting on tables/ I look forward to Gillingham and Shaftesbury, Marshwood’s , Puddletown’s Harvest Suppers finishing with Blandford’s Wine and Cheese Evening.
It was also a lovely to see so many junior and senior member’s enter the Member of the Year with 8 juniors, and 7 seniors. I look forward to judging the Junior Members.
Wish everyone all the best in the new YFC Year with all the county competitions. See you all at the Rally 2025.
