YOUR LOCAL YOUNG FARMERS CLUB

Beaminster YFC are a very active club, at the moment we currently have 50 members  mainly aged between 10 – 21, but we are able to accommodate up to 28 years old.

The club meets up Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm fortnightly. We meet up at Drimpton Village Hall, Chard Rd, Drimpton, Beaminster, DT8 3RF – what3words microchip.shields.humble

We take part in lots of competitions ranging from Stockjudging, Calf Show, Junior Sports, Skittles and the Tug of War team got through to SWA Level and Nationals. We have a great social life, joining other clubs and other counties at Party’s and Balls. We try to keep meetings fun and busy, each year we do lots of farm walks, tours around different agricultural dealerships, skittle nights and paddle boarding.  We enjoy fundraising for club funds and charity including cream teas, bingos to name a few, which are always well attended.

There are so many opportunities for everyone in Young farmers, team sports, travel, public speaking. All you have to do is come along and join.
