Hello Everyone,
Wow second month of 2025 already!
We have been super busy with competitions, county exec meetings, rally prep all coming together along with clubs fundraisers.
3 Clubs have been fundraising for charities and their clubs by colleting real Christmas Trees, one club dropped them off to a members Goat farm where they’ll be fed to them & the other clubs recycled them into woodchip which is then being used for bedding the cattle over winter between the clubs over 300 trees were collected across Dorset, so a massive well done to them.
Entertainments competition saw Puddletown take the win and will now represent Dorset at South West Area weekend in Weston-Super Mare, tickets will be on sale soon for those who’d like to support them at the competition so keep an eye out.
We really have some great performers within Dorset and well done to all of your who performed at Thomas Hardy back in January
Dorset’s speaking & reading day was well supported and we had teams & individuals across the county competing, you certainly gave the judges a tough time placing you all and well done to all who placed and go through to representing Dorset at South West Area and good luck to you all!
Please remember one of the perks within your membership is the amazing discounts your can use across various companies from Farmers Weekly Subscription to a new Ridgeline Coat or even Breakfast at Morrison’s, log into your YFC membership to access these offers
