Chairman’s Message
Hi everyone,
July has been a relatively quiet month in the YFC calendar, following a busy June. We have had the continuation of our competitions with both our Mock Auction and Sheep Show this month. Well done to all who took part and thank you to the clubs who helped to organise these. I was particularly impressed by the numbers that had entered the Mock Auction – it was great to see so many members out!
We also had our next 8 Club meet, kindly hosted by Marshwood Vale – an obstacle course and BBQ.
We finished the month with a new addition to the Dorset YFC calendar – a fencing training day, replacing our normal fencing competition. It was a great chance for our members to have a go at fencing, being the first time for some. I look forward to seeing some of you in the competition next year! A big thank you to Mike for hosting us and to Nick Green, James Hill and Dave Churchill for providing the coaching.
