Beaminster YFC

YFC Club details

Beaminster YFC are a very active club mainly junior members at the moment with more than 35 members currently.  They take part in a lot of competitions ranging from Stockjudging, Fencing, Calf Show, Junior sports, Frisbee and Rounder’s at County and SWA Level.  They have also taken part in the Junior Reading Competition.  we have a great social life, joining other clubs and other counties at Party’s and Balls. We try to keep the meetings fun and busy, in the last few years we have held a farm walk and skittles evenings and been paddle boarding. We enjoy fundraising and organise many fundraising evenings and events including a Cream Tea afternoon which are always very well attended.

There are so many opportunities for everyone in Young Farmers, team sports, travel, public speaking, and even potential love life !!! – All you have to do is come along and join in!

Kwik Cricket

The Club will be representing Dorset YFC at the Nationals Kwik Cricket Finals in October 2021

Stockjuding Club Meeting

4 of their Junior Members will be representing Dorset YFC at the South West Area Junior Stockman Competition in August

Mock Auction

The club teams won Overall Winners and came 1st and 2nd in the Auction placings for the Mock Auction

New members always welcome

The club is always welcoming to new members watch up for their next new members evening or contact them if you wish to attend

Bale Art 2nd Place

The Club came 2nd in the Bale Art 2020/21 competition “Thank you Keyworkers” 

Pallet Competition 2nd Place

The Club came 2nd in the Dorset YFC Pallet recycling competition
