After the wet spring we had it’s no surprise that June has been a hot & dry month and forecast looking much the same into July. I hope everyone has been making the most of the weather, whether you’re making hay or just outside having a BBQ!
June saw the first of hopefully many 9 club social evenings, kindly organised by Wareham & Purbeck YFC. Many went along to play rounders and had a great evening. We’ve got the next two meetings confirmed and organised by Sturminster Newton YFC & Beaminster with visits to Michael Eavis’ farm and the Thatchers Cider Ltd!
Well done to the teams that competed at the Grasslands competition & Mock auction, a big thank you to everyone who helped organise and host these competitions. They are both really enjoyable competitions and I highly recommend if you’ve not been before to go along next year!
Sunday 24th June was the Kingston Maurward College open day, a big well done to Hermitage & Hilfield YFC and Wareham & Purbeck YFC for manning the Dorset YFC stall for the day. It won’t be long until show season kicks off!
All the best!
